ABOUT THE ARTIST

Jasmeet Kohli

I'm a self-taught artist with a deep love for paper art, especially quilling. Over the years, I’ve developed my skills through books, art shows, online videos, and plenty of hands-on experimentation.

My quilling journey began in 2009, while living in Jakarta. At the time, quilling supplies were hard to find, so I started cutting my own strips from cardstock. These handmade strips became my signature style—stronger, more textured, and perfectly suited to my creative vision.

My work is deeply influenced by the many places I’ve called home. Having lived in India, Qatar, the UAE, Japan, Indonesia, and now the United States, I’ve absorbed diverse artistic styles, color palettes, and cultural motifs. These experiences subtly shape each piece I create, blending tradition with contemporary design.

After moving back to the U.S. in 2015, I joined the North American Quilling Guild, where my work won several awards in different categories. Encouraged by this recognition, I launched my Etsy store and began sharing my art with a wider audience.

I took a break from my online shop during a move to Dubai in late 2017. Now happily settled in Houston, Texas, I’ve reopened my online store and am excited to keep adding new, original quilled artworks.

SHIPPING / HANDLING

Shipping method usually depends on the shipping weight of your order. We use USPS Ground advantage or Fedex ground for shipment usually takes 2-5 days within US. For international buyers, please message if you would like to add insurance to the shipping. Carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Recycled boxes maybe used for shipping.

Processing time

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items.

Usually if the item is available its ready to be shipped in 1-3 days.

Custom orders vary according to the project, but usually takes 1-4 weeks.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

This is not a store but I gladly accept PAYPAL or ZELLE if you would like to buy directly. Just message me if you are interested in buying or ordering an artwork. and would like to know more details.

FAQ's

Do you take custom orders?

I do Custom/Personalized order for some items. If you like something in my shop but want in a different color or size, do let me know and we can discuss further. Please allow upto 3 weeks to make the custom artwork. Although it depends on the workload sometime which decides if the artwork will be ready to ship sooner. If its a gift for someone or you need it earlier, let me know and we can try to expedite the order.

Do you accept refunds or exchanges?

I will gladly accept a return if the item comes damaged, in which case you should take pictures of the item and its packaging, within 3 days of receiving the shipment. Return authorization is required for proper processing via a conversation. Should you return your purchase for any other reason, you are responsible for shipping back the item in its original condition and you will receive a refund or store credit in the amount of the original purchase ,less the shipping.
Customized order cannot be returned. But if there is a problem in the order, do let me know.

What about International custom/ duties?

International customers are responsible for all fees associated with shipping, custom clearance in their respective countries. We are not responsible for any delay in shipping due to customs. I usually ship via Emirates post with tracking information available in some countries. Have patience as it does take time for international shipping. If you want to expedite for added postage let me know.

How do you ship?

Shipping method usually depends on the shipping weight of your order. I usually ship using standard postage which takes 10-15 business days for Internhaional or USPS/Fedex within US/Canada.
